Unfortunately this project has fallen on the back burner. After the release of Blender 2.5 I found the new interface and scripting didn't (initially) allow me to develop to the user interface model I intended. I am also aware there is a more widespread community effort being put into a tree/forest generator which may be based in part on this software. I will (eventually) attempt to track down what is happening in this field and provide the information here.

The short version of the story is that this script was originally created in 2001, then last modified by someone else in 2004, and it must have been time for another update.
